Where to stay in Puerto Princesa

If it's within your budget, try to stay at Puerto Pension, which has gotten good reviews.. Or you can stay where we stayed, Audissie Pension , which is just beside Puerto Pension on Malvar street.

But my advise is that you book room number 10 on the ground floor as they seem to be the newest parts.  We first got the family room (P1500 for 4pax, extra person P300) at the lower level, which showed signs of wear and tear. The kitchen/dining area did not smell fresh and did not have a gas or electric stove or any cooking utensils. It did have a small ref. The bedroom was really large but the beds are lumpy and cable reception wasn't very good. The bathroom also felt a little cramped.
On our return from El Nido, we booked 2 separate rooms. I wanted a room with a view on the 2nd floor and got room number 3(P800 for 2 pax, extra person with mattress, P300).  This was also a bit small and old but the bathroom was big and relatively clean. Too bad our view from the verandah was only of the street. Maybe we should have asked for a room with a view of the sea on the other side. Note the old aircon which still performed well.

The best room was room number 10(P800, 2 pax). The only downside to the room is that it's on the street level, so don't leave your curtains open. Also, they need a shower curtain or something to stop the water from flowing into the bedroom but otherwise this was huge and newly furnished.

Rate includes 2 bath towels, soap, tissue and roundtrip airport transfer.
Breakfast (P110-P130)not included.
