For Ma and Pa's anniversary, we went back to Ayala Triangle to try out the japanese resto Omakase. While Mama simply enjoyed the sushi boat, I found what we ordered too delicately flavored, too subdued for my taste. I hesitate to call it bland for my Pinoy taste but I do think all the dishes left me unimpressed. Maybe we should have ordered other stuff. My mistake it that I didn't order the tempura or the western dishes like the rib eye steak. Well, Ma wants to go back there on her birthday so we'll be giving Omakase another chance!
Sweet love
Rasberry tea, dalandan juice and mandarin orange tea
Mikado salad P225
I can't recall the exact name of the dish but this was like their seafood mix of marlin, squin, shrimp...which was the only dish that was liberally seasoned.
Tofu steak P200. Very bland coz it's tofu, but North Park does a gloriously savory tofu and brocolli dish
Fried rice P230 for sharing. Just ok
Sushi boat P900. Mom liked it but I am not a fan of the raw fish bits.
